Class Description:
Learn how to stretch your client safely and effectively on the massage table, using Thai massage techniques.
Adapted from Traditional Thai bodywork, sports massage and many other modalities, these stretching techniques have been thoroughly road-tested for effectiveness and safety to the client and practitioner alike. They can be done draped or clothed. You can design a routine around them or drop them into the work you already do as needed. You will learn the Saltwater Taffy method of stretching, a comfortable and painless way to maintain or increase flexibility and save your hands. Fully illustrated handout provided.

Instructor information:
Kay Rynerson, Licensed Massage Therapist and Registered Thai Therapist, graduated from Seattle Massage School in 1988 and subsequently studied in Thailand, where she received her teaching
certificate in Chiang Mai for Traditional Massage of Thailand.
Kay maintains a private practice in Seattle using many different modalities including Thai massage, table massage, The Rossiter System, Barefoot Body Bliss (with bars in the ceiling), advanced myofascial work, spa treatments, and more.
She teaches workshops here and internationally.
