The Hallucination of Palpation: An Exploration of Anatomy

April 16, 2019

Presenters: Traci Soriano, LMT with Khya Rice, LMT

Description:
Explore how palpation of the human body for effective massage/bodywork is influenced. Our base knowledge of anatomy and physiology is just the beginning. How do our intentions, our ability to visualize, or our preconceived ideas about our clients and our role in healing impact the art of palpation? We will discuss these ideas followed by hands-on time palpating common “tricky” structures in the body.
