Table Shiatsu

February 8, 9 & 10, 9:00 to 5:00

Table Shiatsu is a form of Meridian Massage Therapy which you can integrate with other massage modalities to create an East-West healing bodywork blend. It combines palm, loose fist and finger pressure techniques applied along the Organ Meridian Chi (energy) pathways to regulate Chi, clear tension and nourish the internal organ systems. Shiatsu includes passive stretching and range-of-motion techniques to open the "gateways" (joints) to allow ease of movement and unrestricted Chi flow. This course includes instruction on the location of the Meridian pathways, and integrates techniques from T'ui Na Chinese Massage. 21 NCBTMB approved CE hours.
