This Zoom will be delivered from beautiful Friday Harbor, and will cover: Dispelling Myths and Legends which continue to prevail in massage clinics and spas Provide you with PDF materials reviewed by Dr. Halverson and Leslie Stager RN, LMT and author of Nurturing Pregnancy Massage. Group Discussion and “Ask me anything about Pregnancy Massage!” This portion of the course will provide you with 4 hours of non-contact lecture CEUs for massage therapists. Cost: 90.00

Day 2: Sunday, June 1, 9:00am-4:00pm (lunch 12-1)
Hands on Pregnancy Massage in Friday Harbor with Essie Hicks and Dr. Alisha Halverson Ph.D.

Location: San Jaun Island Grange

This course covers positioning, draping, classic relaxation massage, pain relieving acupressure points, reviews cautions and contraindications, helps with communication skills, and reviews labor massage.

Who is this course for?
Massage therapists who would like a review or introduction to Pregnancy. Massage Doulas who want to learn labor massage. Midwives who want to provide more touch therapy to their patients. Chiropractors who want some more soft tissue techniques to alleviate common aches and pains. Partners who want to help alleviate common aches and pains for their pregnant loved one and provide massage in the delivery room This portion of the course will provide 6 hours of hands on CEUs for massage therapists. If you don’t stay for the entire course, payment in full is still expected.
